More than 20 teams gathered at the arbour on the Hay River Reserve for a handgames tournament over the long weekend.

With a pot totalling $50,000, teams and players came from all over the NWT and northern Alberta to compete, socialize, and have fun. The tournament was a precursor to the K’atlodeeche First Nation’s annual general assembly set to begin Tuesday, August 5.
