Ball hockey fills void

Despite the change from their regular location, more than a dozen men faithfully turn out twice a week for ball-hockey games.

“Usually, ball hockey, is a fill-in sport during the spring before golf and softball start,” said organizer Scott Bolt. “We’ve had ten to 15 guys showing up. Not a lot of difference as far as the game goes, but the asphalt offers a lot more grip. The arena concrete is very slippery.”
