Dress and doll memorialize lost

A tiny, crimson red dress and Barbie doll have been hanging from a tree alongside the Mackenzie Highway near the entrance to the airport.

Eileen Hamilton placed the dress, along with several others, at the highly visible location in the trees Oct. 11.

She placed them there during a small ceremony that day that included a tobacco offering and drummers and singers.
