Aboriginal Day celebrated

National Aboriginal Day was celebrated in Hay River and on the Hay River Reserve on June 21.

The Hay River Metis Government Council hosted a free barbecue, featuring live music and activities for children.

K’atlodeeche First Nation hosted activities on the reserve, including a fire-feeding ceremony, a parade, and fun outdoor games for adults and children.
